AS-FOUND / RE-FORMED
Methods, Media, Matter
This symposium explores representation and building as co-productive in adaptive reuse, arguing that documentation is never neutral. Reuse practices continually pressure and revise our representational methods. It also asks how this reciprocity can inform pedagogy, prompting architecture schools to rethink how curriculum relates to representation, its tools, and its infrastructures.
Structured around concise 20-minute reflections and 5-minute Q&As, the sessions serve as layered ground for 45-minute open discussions. Treating the presentation as a site for re-forming rather than a finished object, this format establishes a field of exchange rather than a single focal point, allowing us to enact the reciprocal methods central to adaptive reuse.
