OPEN25 Architecture Festival
Join the annual OPEN25 Architecture Festival, taking place at Aarhus School of Architecture 19 September.
OPEN25 – In the Eyes of the Ordinary – questions and unfolds the role and complexity of the ordinary. This calls for a paradigm shift that moves beyond fascination of the exceptional, directing urban and rural architecture, re-claiming the ordinary as an act of resistance, a wellspring of cultural value and sustainable
thinking.
The festival presents an inspiring program, encouraging the important cross-disciplinary dialogue between Practice, Business and Academia. From six stages, more than 5o influential speakers will attend debates, talks, exhibitions, and film screenings.
The first speakers announced are Art Curator Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung (HKW Berlin), Architect Momoyo Kaijima (Co-founder Atelier Bow-Wow), architect Jan de Vylder (Co-founder of the studio architecten jan de vylder inge vinck / inge vinck jan de vylder architecten) and award-winning author Solvej Balle at Aarhus School of Architecture in September.
