RAAMWERK

RAAMWERK is a design collective led by Gijs De Cock and Freek Dendooven. The collective is based with an office in Gent, Belgium. Since its establishment, RAAMWERK works on a portfolio of diverse projects in various sizes. The objective is to create an empathic architecture that is the result of a critical social, programmatic and economic research. Each project is seen as an opportunity to participate in a social debate. Both public and private projects have the possibility to take a position and engage with the wider society. 

RAAMWERK wants to achieve a certain generosity within the architectural process – the act of building – finally resulting in spaces that can be claimed by its users. A building as a framework in which the everyday life can take place.
