A new arts centre/theatre building in Sundsvall

Open architecture competition.

The Municipality of Sundsvall invites entries to an architecture competition, aimed at giving municipal and regional residents a distinguished building of the highest architectural quality, with high accessibility and of durable design. The building shall forming a landmark at the meeting point of the old Stone Town and the Selångerån river estuary.

Last date for submission of entries 15th May 2008

The result of the competition was announced the 18th of November 2008 in Sundsvall and on this website.

Allmän arkitekttävling

Sundsvalls kommun inbjuder till arkitekttävling för att kunna ge kommunens och regionens invånare en märkesbyggnad av högsta arkitektoniska kvalitet, med hög tillgänglighet och präglad av hållbart utförande. Byggnaden ska bli ett landmärke där den gamla stenstaden möter Selångeråns mynning vid havet.
