There is a wide range of solutions located in different isolated parts of the competition area. According to the program, it was possible to propose actions outside the competition area, which also shows in several projects. The major issue was to study the connections between the hill with its existing buildings, the commercial area with its parking lots and the old airfield. The competitors have often concentrated on just one issue, sometimes in conflict with other important aspects. Most projects have focused on the buildings and the architecture, instead of analyzing the whole area regarding traffic, parking and connections. However, there are a few proposals which have strong and well defined ideas on a higher level, where the architecture is more schematic and sometimes maybe not so well studied, but with an inherent potential and possibility for differentiation. The fact that the program has been very free, have given the competitors many possibilities but also many difficulties.
