Jotunheim is one of very few entries to be very strongly interlinked with Kulturmagasinet. An inner, glass-roofed piazza is sited north of the existing warehouse buildings, surrounded by four dense, boulder-like volumes.
This creates a very large precinct in the city, at the same time as the north front of Kulturmagasinet is boxed up completely. The large stone-like volumes containing the theatre units, however, are hugely forbidding to look at, and the ensemble as a whole remains unconvincing as regards both its configuration and the technical solutions.
