Sveriges Arkitekter - KULTURSTENEN Fourth prize, shared, 25.000 SEK

The jury’s assessment:

Kulturstenen builds on a fantastic motion up through the foyers in a very well-defined cube shape commensurate with the scale of the Stone Town. This articulate stratagem results in an interesting sequence of rooms.

The formalistic approach, however, creates problems and prevents the building from being perceived as accessible to all comers.
